Galaxy G.C. Group LLC was established in June 2008 by Steve Zervoudis and his sons, Gus, Jimmy, Telly and Ari Zervoudis. Steve Zervoudis is the Managing Member, and he is also the President and owner of Galaxy General Contracting Corp. Aside from Steve Zervoudis, the other members collectively have almost 48 years of construction experience through their association with similar new construction and rehab projects completed by Galaxy General Contracting Corp. The company’s first completed project was the new construction of a 78-unit elderly housing project in Flushing, Queens at a cost of $15,625,000. In March 2014, Galaxy G.C. Group LLC completed the construction of a 24-unit apartment building in the Bushwick section in Brooklyn known as Knickerbocker Commons. This six-story, 24-unit project was the second affordable housing structure in the country built to “passive house” standards. Over the past 13 years, Galaxy G.C. Group LLC and its affiliate, Galaxy General Contracting Corp. have completed 29 projects with 1,802 apartments with construction costs of $416,157,887. In addition, Galaxy has five projects in progress at various stages of completion with total construction costs of $180,010,754.
