You're Invited!
Please join us for our Virtual Benefit and Awards Reception.
Join us for a special evening to share stories of resilience during a year of extraordinary hardship and injustice. Together, we’ll raise a (virtual) glass and look to the future with renewed hope and resolve to build a more just city for all.
We’ll also celebrate two exceptional partners who have helped to create new affordable housing and innovative ways to respond to emergency food needs during the pandemic. We’ll honor Wells Fargo Bank for their outstanding investment and work on FAC’s newly constructed senior housing project - Northeastern Towers Annex - with our joint partners Northeastern Conference of Seventh Day Adventists and Mega Contracting, and Michael Stamatis and his team at Red Hook Container Terminal LLC for their incredible efforts in donating and transporting food to New Yorkers in public housing in Gowanus and Red Hook, as well as residents of FAC’s affordable housing developments.
We’re proud to announce that NYS Attorney General Letitia James will be our keynote speaker. Letitia “Tish” James is the 67th Attorney General for the State of New York. With decades of work, she is an experienced attorney and public servant with a long record of accomplishments. She is the first woman of color to hold statewide office in New York and the first woman to be elected Attorney General.
Welcome
We are proud of FAC’s longstanding commitment to our communities and our work to advance economic, social, and racial justice. This year, that pride has deepened as we’ve been able to respond to immediate, emergency needs in new and creative ways while we’ve sustained our long-term work. We continue to build and preserve affordable housing, provide support for grassroots organizing and advocacy work, and provide transformative education, training and services. I hope you will be able to join me for a special evening as we celebrate our amazing staff and partners. With your support, we will always help our communities to thrive!
It’ll be a wonderful event, with inspiring stories, reflections from local leaders, and a chance to connect and celebrate our work to build a more just and inclusive city. We hope to “see” you there!
